Nevada Medicaid seeks actively practicing, licensed physicians and pharmacists for expertise on drug use Nevada Medicaid is currently recruiting actively practicing, licensed physicians and pharmacists to become members of the Drug Use Review (DUR) Board. Members are appointed by the director of the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services and participate in quarterly meetings. The primary goal of drug utilization review is to enhance and improve the quality of pharmaceutical care and patient outcomes by encouraging optimal drug use. Members have knowledge and expertise in clinically appropriate prescribing/dispensing/monitoring of outpatient drugs, evaluation and intervention, and medical quality assurance.
