Within Nevada, child care has been deemed essential by Gov. Steve Sisolak and facilities are not required to close at this time. State health officials advise health facilities to follow CDC guidelines regarding coronavirus. The Nevada Department of Health and Human Services is recommending that all long-term care facilities follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for COVID-19. The first bullet below applies to health care facilities in general, and the second bullet is specific to long-term care facilities.
