Nevada residents interested in advising the dietitian industry in the state are encouraged to apply for the vacancy on the state Dietitian Advisory Group (DAG). The DAG’s responsibilities include:
Four members of the DAG are licensed dietitians, and one position is reserved for the general public. The term of service is four years with meetings at least once a year and also as called by the chair of the DAG or at the direction of the Board of Health or the Division of Public and Behavioral Health. There is no compensation for serving on the DAG and members may attend meetings by teleconference.
